6:30 My boys and I had stayed all night at their aunts. I get woke up by 2 of my rambunctious nieces and one of my nephews. They have so much energy. I end up getting hit in the nose by one of their heads on accident. They woke up the youngest 3 because they were being loud. I feel bad because I know my sister in law is tired and they won’t go back to sleep.
7:15 The boys and I drop them off at school then head home to get ready. My youngest think it is more important to pet our cat instead of getting ready. This has caused us to run behind quite a few times.
7:20 Just remembered today was trash day. Good news trash has not ran yet!! I was able to get the 2 toters to the curb in time, whew!
7:30 I ask my two boys if they have brushed their teeth. My 12 year old was honest and said “no”. My 14 year old responds “yes”. This is highly unlikely. I tell him I do not believe him. He was insistent. When I told him let me smell your breath that’s when he admitted he hadn’t. This is an everyday battle. I’m not sure why hygiene is so hard.
7:36 We left a bit early today which was a miracle.
7:42 My 12 year old is insistent on me looking at him to check if his hair looks ok while I’m driving. I have to explain to him more than once that he will have to wait until we get to school.
7:46 Oldest son is dropped off at school. He has made the following requests from me when I am dropping him off: 1)have the music turned down, 2)no hugs and 3)don’t say anything. He’s hilarious. So naturally I do all three today.
My youngest son refuses to give me a hug. I think this is the beginning of him thinking that he is too cool to give me a hug, sigh. Kind of makes me sad.
8:00 Arrived home, started to get ready. The cat decided to be needy. So I stop what I’m doing to pet him because he won’t leave me alone.
9:10 I left the house. I headed to my first appointment which was at a school. I had a nice conversation with my step daughter while I was driving. I’m thankful I have hands free calling through my Bluetooth.
9:45 Arrived at the school. I talked on the phone longer than I should have.
12:48 I left the school and headed home.
1:02 I arrived at home I noticed I received 2 new lids for my toters which was a nice surprise. I had to take care of a few things at home before I had to leave again.
1:50 Arrived for CPR Training. There is a large class today. I hope it doesn’t take a long time.
3:40 CPR ended 20 minutes early.
3:58 I picked up the boys from my sister in laws house. We went home. I prompted the boys to start on their chores.
4:45 My uncle arrived bringing some gifts for my new house. I hadn’t spoken to him in quite some time. He brought some paintings, a cool room dividers, a 32 inch tv and some linens. This was very kind of him to think of me.
5:00 My uncle left. The boys had to finish their chores before we left. Surprisingly no back talk or arguing with each other. I look forward to these moments.
5:16 We had received a dinner invite from sister in law earlier in the day.
5:25 Arrived to warm welcome. I received a lot of hugs from my nieces and nephew. Homemade pizza and breadsticks were on the menu, our favorite.
7:45 Went home. The boys and I watched a little bit of tv before they went to bed. We watched a mixture of YouTube and Netflix.
9:15 The boys are asleep. I was thankful for this. I debated on whether or not I should relax or be productive. These are my thoughts daily. I decided to be productive and finished up any documentation from work. This is going to be a long night.
