Optimism is a courageous choice you make every day.
Woke up at 5:40 am + let the dog outside for early morning exercise. Make coffee+ put fresh water + food down for the dog. Turned off outside lights to help with electric bills. Slept well last evening.
Brought in newspaper + prepared a little breakfast for myself. Plan to go to Early Church services @ 8:30 a.m. High Street Church. I should have asked R to go with me today. He needs to get out of sitting in his home all by his self. I’ll ask him this week if he’ll go to service next week.
Let the dog back in. She went back to her bed. It seems warmer outside this morning. We are expecting some snow. I hope it doesn’t snow much.
My right arm is still very sore this morning. I’m going to call Orthoped Assoc. tomorrow to make an appointment. 3 days is long enough to wait for my arm + wrist to feel better.

Article on Israel Nash among states leading scorer, the Muncie Family continues to keep people. The opinion pages were a mess—just way too political for me.
After church I went to S’s to take her to get Rx’s + few groceries. Her car has broken down + she needed a ride. Took her to Walmart to pick her Rx’s up +she got groceries there. I waited on her in car. I went in right away + got some wings + loaded potato salad for tonight.
Went to get gasoline today + to wash my car. It has snowed lightly today.
Going to J’s home today to eat dinner + to watch Super Bowl. Going to take the loaded potato salad to J’s. I made a hummingbird cake last evening to take too.
I took a nap between noon and two and then went to Sa +JG’s for about an hour.
F called + wanted to go out for a while. I had to decline because of going to J’s for the Super Bowl. Told him I’d take a raincheck.
Had a wonderful time at J’s. I left before Super Bowl was over. Been a beautiful day + evening. Looking forward to the new week. Got tons I’ve got to do this week.
