Woke up at 6 a.m. + let B. outside for morning exercise. Put down fresh water +food for her. Made coffee + brought in newspaper. Turned off outdoor lights. Checked into Facebook for overnight news. Going to call Dr. R + reschedule colon scope for Oct. or Nov. I don’t have anyone to go with me to Indy this week. L is sick. Going to go to Cornerstone for auto + Minnetrista to apply for job. Hope I find a job soon.
The flash flood dominates the news in newspaper. The Indiana Task Force saves over 100 people from Florence. The water keeps coming. More than 600,000 are without power in NC. At least 17 deaths have been reported this morning.
I text Sis with info on colonoscopy of Feb. 7, 2019 in Indy. I hope she can go with me. I called Dr. J today. I see her in Nov. 2018. Talked with Brother today. I talked with D too. D said M got little rain + no flooding in Ayden, NC. She is coming home to Kokomo back from New York today. She wants to know how trip to Louisville + the Ark went. I told her it was fabulous. The Death toll is now 32 for Florence, according to CBS National News Tonight. Wilmington NC is cut off from rest of state by floodwater.
