Woke this morning at 6:30 am. Bed too warm but my, animals and 2 dogs, are letting me know they want their breakfast and to go outside. Feed the bunch, make a cut of tea, take a shower and get ready for work. Before leaving I clean the litter box and started dishwasher. Let the dogs in, gave them their “cookie” and instructed them to be good, don’t chase cats too much, watch the house and have a good day. Left house at 7:37 am.
Arrived at work at 8 am. Came in got computer started. Put lunch in fridge. Checked e-mails. Looked at schedule for the day. Another busy day. 15 clients. First client is a no-show. Not much of a surprise. 9:30 am went to second office to complete intakes on clients on probation released from jail today. Provided education to clients of treatment program stipulations for substance dependency. Was at this office for 3 hours.
Returned to main office, entered completed intakes from other office into computer. Spent afternoon seeing rest of scheduled appointments. Several probation clients did not show for their appointments and their probation officers were notified. Left office at 5:00 pm and went home.
Arrived home at 5:15 pm. Once home was greeted by my 2 dogs. Fed all of the animals, let the dogs out and back in after 10 minutes. Left house at 5:35pm to meet up with a group of friends at Vera Mae’s, a local restaurant in Muncie. This group meets every Tuesday from 5-7 pm. We all met preforming in Muncie Civic Theatre and other theatre groups. We have been meeting every Tuesday for the past 7 years. Usually the group goes out to eat afterwards. I opted not to tonight. It was a long day and I am tired. Also need to spend some time with my animals.
Got back home around 7:30 pm. Played with the animals. Husband did go out to dinner with the group. Had a quiet evening. Had a light supper. Got ready for bed and watched my favorite show “Curse of Oak Island” a show about a treasure hunt. I would love to be a part of this team of discoverers.
