On Thursday, April 13 from 2:00-5:00 PM, the DSL will host a workshop to introduce BSU researchers to tools and methods for working with network data and producing visualizations. Jason Heppler, Digital Engagement Librarian and Assistant Professor of History at the University of Nebraska-Omaha will visit the DSL at Ball State to lead a hands-on workshop that introduces participants to Gephi and Palladio, tools that enable users to create and analyze network data through maps, network diagrams, tables, and galleries. No experience with network analysis tools or methods is assumed or required. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested and wish to reserve a seat or if have questions about the workshop, please email dsl@bsu.edu.
