Digital Feed – Introduction to Voyant Tools

On Thursday, October 12, 2017, the Digital Scholarship Lab (DSL) hosted a Digital Feed to introduce BSU researchers to text analysis using Voyant Tools. The feed was anchored by Stéfan Sinclair, an Associate Professor of Digital Humanities at McGill University via videoconference. During the feed, Sinclair demonstrated various ways of using Voyant Tools for text analysis. He additionally highlighted some interesting projects that had used Voyant Tools and also informed the audience that Voyant Tools has a local version that can be installed on the user’s laptop for those that have privacy concerns or those that would love to work offline.
