DSL Public Talk: Patricia Carbajales-Dale, “GIS for Good: Serving Communities Through Education”
Patricia Carbajales-Dale, Co-Director of the Center of Excellences and manager of the daily operations of the Geospatial Technology center at Clemson University, gave a talk titled, “GIS for Good: Serving Communities Through Education,” on November 15, 2017. She shared her experiences partnering with the United Nations to create a service learning class focused on GIS. Before moving to Clemson, Carbajales-Dale established and ran the Stanford Geospatial Center for four years at Stanford University where she also held the position of GIS lecturer within the School of Earth Sciences.
