6am: up with doggies. Extra time with post-surgical dog. Spinal surgery last week, so takes more time for potties and have to do exercises three times a day. And frequent meds.
7am: back to bed for a nap
10 am: up for good. More pet care, dishes, breakfast. Sit outside for some sun
12pm: wasting time online.
2pm: dog meds for 2 pups and more PT exercises with the one dog.
2:30pm: leave to go get dad for dentist appt. Denture fitting. He seemed in a great, silly mood. Kept denture in while we did errands after the appt. Went to buy garden supplies at Lowes and plants at Wise Market. Enjoyed spending time with Dad.
4:30pm: Returned Dad to his supported living facility. Stayed until he was served dinner in dining room so I could see him eat with bottom denture in which he has been consistently NOT wearing since he got it in Feb. He ate well. Visited with Dad’s tablemates.
Respite work for the evening was canceled. I would have been watching a boy while his family went to a ball game, but game was canceled.
5:30pm: Back home to my house for dog dinner, dog meds, dog PT, my dinner, then to mow.
7:30pm: wrapped up mowing and showered before SURVIVOR comes on.
8PM-10PM: Survivor finale on CBS.
10pm: Dogs out to potty and bedtime dog meds. Surgery dog got to sleep on bed bc she was grumbly in her crate. Supposed to be on crate rest after spinal surgery, but she is bored with that. She kept still on the bed.
11pm: fell asleep watching Twilight Zone remake on CBS streaming channel.
