Diarist A24 Day07

Diary for Sunday
February 4, 2018
Day started with the cat pestering me by liking my ear and hair. I guess he was grooming me for some reason. Maybe he was telling me to get up and check his food and let me OUT! Taking in this neighborhood cat for the winter was crazy!
Up and ready to go at 10:30 am. As usual slept in. I see the snow has begun to melt from last night and the sun is shining again.
Feed the dog and check the cat food. Grab the news paper off the porch and let the cat out. Fun day as usual
Read the newspaper, eat breakfast and watch Pet Pals, rather the show after.
My daughter B is up, finely and has the computer on. I can play my games and relax. LOL
Knitting and watching TV is a busy day for this 75year old woman. My daughter L calls. Needs some Ham for brunch. Sooner or later I will use up that ham that in the refrigerator that I baked a week ago. She comes down with a piece of peach pie and cherry pie. Good trade for the sliced ham.
B bakes some chicken pot pies from the freezer for our late lunch early supper.
Darn wind is messing up the tv so we cannot get channel 6 to watch the national news. That shoots “American funniest Videos” also. Sometimes at is a pain not to have cable tv. We have watched create most of the day—they are cooking snack food for the football game. That is about as close I will get to hear about the game until the news. Who is playing?
Thank goodness PBS is coming in good. Want to watch Victoria at 8:00 pm because I missed last weeks due to a phone call. I am so glad the are running it again tonight. I keep thinking I must look up how many children she had. I remember reading a book about her eldest son and his children.
Watching the news at 10:00 pm B announcing the ball game has 1 minute and some seconds to go. Well that will take another hour to play is my comment. But the Eagles are ahead! Well that is something. Then B announces the Eagles has won. Good! I love to see teams that have never won thing come out on top.
Bed time after the news. I have to check the weather. Need to go to Open Door Exec. Meeting on Monday afternoon and it will decide if I ride the bus or not.
Cat and I go to bed. Two chapters on my Rita Mae Brown book, write in my diary, and play my games. Off to sleep.
