Slept late because I was working on a journal publication whose deadline was fast approaching. Woke up first time at 4.30am, checked my email and other web properties to see if there were new events that may upset the plans I had for the day. There were none. I stood by the window for a while appreciating the beautiful weather. Just few weeks ago, reflections of light from the street lights were unceremoniously hoarded by snow filled trees and grasses. Now they are beautifully bouncing off the few leaves that are beginning to blossom. I readied my formal clothes because my colleagues and I, are meeting with the head of my institution. After that, I performed other routine morning activities. Took a nap of 20 mins that ended with my alarm ringing at 6:00 am. The rest of my day went as expected.
