April 4, 2022 was our latest diary day. Our newest contributions our now posted. They include several reports on local activities tied to the welcoming of Afghan refugees to Muncie. Through them, we get a glimpse of the everyday lives of these newcomers. We also hear a lot in these diaries about morning rituals involving caffeine, prayer, and exercise. There’s also some interesting artwork and an inventory of household possessions. We’ll have more to say on the blog about these and other themes in the coming weeks.
